Operational Update on NOCN Group Qualifications and Services

NOCN Group offers a wide range of services including regulated qualifications, EPA for apprenticeships, Job Cards in construction, Access to HE Diplomas, bespoke accreditation, and educational and skills support training.

As you will be aware the government imposed a third national lockdown from Tuesday 5th January 2021. You will find out more operational detail on the implications for each of these services through the following links:

Please note that NOCN Group will be following the guidance issued by the ESFA, IfATE, Ofqual, CCEA Regulation, QAA, and Qualifications Wales, and will update our customers as things change.

CPCS Red Trained Operator Card

The CPCS Red Trained Operator Card is issued on successful completion of the CPCS Theory and Practical Technical Tests which must be taken with a CPCS accredited test centre.

Learn which theory and practical test you need to complete in order to gain a Red Trained Operator Card.

To get this card you need to (in this order):

  1. Pass the relevant CITB health, safety and environment test.
  2. Achieve the CPCS theory test (within two years of the CITB health, safety and environment test)
  3. Achieve the CPCS practical test (within six months of the CPCS theory test and within two years of the CITB health, safety and environment test).

Both CPCS theory and practical tests are delivered by an approved CPCS test centre. The test centre will apply for the card.
